ITSY is an integral part of Module 1 of our Kindness in School Programme and is an example of the high quality of short films that we use to deliver our Kindness Framework. ITSY has screened internationally at twenty film festivals from Canada, US, UK, Spain, Portugal to Turkey, Nigeria, and India amongst others, and won six awards. ITSY had its London film premiere in October 2019 and was applauded for its cinematic appeal and message by a wide gathering of adults including parents. It has also garnered praise from the press and film festivals alike:
A reflection of multicultural Britain and diversity, a call to action to never judge a book by it’s cover;
ITSY Tells You How An Act Of Kindness Can Set A Soul Free;
A heart-warming tale about how the smallest and apparently most surprising things can act as catalysts for change...and stimulate thought on the topic of diversity.
Paints an accurate social portrait of British society and how multiculturalism is integrated within it;
Step aside Itsy Bitsy Spider, there is a new adorable mini spider in town that the short film uses to underline the importance of kindness.
